SignOnSanDiego.com is reporting that Ricky Skaggs and Kentucky Thunder will be performing with the San Diego Symphony this August as part of the Summer Pops series. Two performances are scheduled for August 4 and 5. The title of the performances is Red, White and Bluegrass With Ricky Skaggs and Kentucky Thunder.
Concerts are held at Embarcadero Marina Park South, 206 Marina Parkway, downtown. Performances begin at 7:30 p.m.; gates open at 6 p.m. Each concert is followed by nightly fireworks.
Subscriptions range from $50 to $670.
Single tickets, which go on sale April 10, are $10 to $70.
