When the very first Blue Ox Music Festival was held this past weekend in Eau Claire, WI, Shelly Swanger was there to capture images for the readers of Bluegrass Today. Her photos are brilliant, as always, but it looks like festivalgoers had to brave some rain and mud to enjoy the fine music.
The festival was hosted by Pert Near Sandstone, and featured a mix of bluegrass, jamgrass and acoustic acts.
Shelly is at the Telluride Bluegrass Festival this weekend, so we’ll be looking forward to her photos from there next week.
