Doyle Lawson talks Ira Louvin’s mandolin

Event Details

Ira Louvin

Katy caught up with Doyle Lawson a couple of weeks ago at the Delaware Valley Bluegrass Festival to talk about one of his most prized possessions, an old mandolin that once belonged to Ira Louvin. He doesn’t normally travel with this museum piece, but brought it along for this interview where he shares the story of how it came into his possession, and how much he enjoys the music of the Louvin Brothers.
