Video is now available from the all-star Bill Keith banjo style summit held at this year’s Grey Fox festival back in July.
In light of Bill’s induction into the Bluegrass Hall of Fame last night, here are the two videos shot by Fred Robbins and a team of other videographers, with audio by Phil Zimmerman.
The summit was hosted by Tony Trischka and Béla Fleck, with assistance from Ryan Cavanaugh, Marc Horowitz, Mike Kropp, Mike Munford, Noam Pickelny, and Eric Weissberg. Bill also sat in on the panel and shared in the discussion, though he didn’t play.
The two videos run just under two hours in combined length. Well worth the time for anyone interested in the development of banjo playing in the 20th century.
