Our weekly poll updates have been moved to Monday mornings now. In this week’s poll update we note that 60% of our registered users have now voted. This figure is up from the 58% we reported on Oct 1. The readership of Bluegrass Today has increased by 9% in the same period.

Entertainer of the Year – Doyle Lawson and Quicksilver hold a 10% lead, having lost 2% while Rhonda Vincent gained 2%

Vocal Group of the Year Has seen a similar slip for Doyle Lawson and Quicksilver as Blue Highway and Mountain Heart have each gained 1%

Song of the YearRain Please Go Away (Alison Krauss & Union Station-performer, Del McCoury-writer) has strengthened it’s lead in this category to a 4% margin

Emerging Artist of the Year – last week Cherryholmes had what I referred to as “a precarious lead” of only 1% over the Grascals. This week that lead has widened into a solid 7%.

Several of the other categories continue to be very tight but have not seen significant change since our last update.
