Farm Jamb has quickly become one of the premier bluegrass festivals in the Bluegrass state of Kentucky, a three day event in the hills not far from the Kentucky capital of Frankfort.

When we arrived, RVs were already set up, and the campers and walk-in crowds were excited about the next three days of bluegrass music that would soon be echoing through the hills around Bagdad, Kentucky. The rapid growth of this festival in part is because of the incredible line up that Ron McClurg and his amazing staff, made up mostly of family and friends, put together every year.

This year’s line up was no exception, bringing in up-and-coming bands like Fresh Cut Grass from Louisville, Kentucky, and The Backwoods Bluegrass Band from southern Indiana. This year’s festival featured an all-star line up consisting of Rhonda Vincent & the Rage, Dailey & Vincent, Dan Tyminski, Larry Sparks, The Lonesome River Band, The Kody Norris Show, Rhonda Vincent’s Raging Country Band, Ralph Stanley II & the Clinch Mountain Boys, Caleb Daugherty, Hammertown, and Wyatt Ellis.

The Malpass Brothers took the stage on Friday night and added a little bit of classic country to this year’s festival.

Ron and the staff of Farm Jamb would like to thank all who attended this year’s Farm Jamb. We look forward to seeing an even bigger crowd next year, so make reservations for your campsites early, and we will see you there.
