Ryan Cavanaugh and Jake Jolliff – Just Friends

Event Details

Here’s a great example of musicians trained in bluegrass tackling a jazz standard.

Ryan Cavanaugh and Jake Jolliff were performing at the Jalopy Theatre in Brooklyn when they ripped into a banjo/mandolin duet on the Klenner & Lewis classic, Just Friends.

The video is a bit dark, but the music is fine.

The video was shot by Thomas Bailey, and Chris Johnson edited the audio.

Tasty.
