Rise Again songbook from Sing Out!

Event Details

Rise Again

Rise AgainAnnie Patterson and Peter Blood have collaborated with Hal Leonard  to create a new edition of their very popular songbook, Rise Up Singing. Like the original, which is still available, this new songbook offers words and chords to 1200 great folk songs designed for group singing.

Rise Again follows very closely to the format of the original volume, with a simple, homemade-looking design and illustrations by Meghan Merker who drew for Sing Out! magazine for more than three decades. It even has a preface from Pete Seeger, who composed it prior to his passing.

All of the songs collected in Rise Again are ones not included in Rise Up Singing, so with the pair of books, you’ll have 2400 well-loved folk songs at your fingertips.

Spiral bound copies are available in both a standard (7.5′ x 10′) size, and a larger, song leader edition (9′ x 12′). Group discounts are also available in quantity.

A sing-along concert tour is underway, with Annie and Peter leading the way. More details are available online.
