Resonator guitarist extraordinaire Randy Kohrs will be conducting an instrument demonstration at the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville, TN. It is set for this afternoon (October 30th) at 1:00 p.m.
The focus of the discussion will be the history of the resophonic guitar. Topics will include wood body guitars, metal body guitars, and possibly a few Hawaiian guitars. The demo will last an hour. It is free to Hall of Fame members, and is included free with paid admission into the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum.
For those who aren’t familiar with Randy’s background, he has recorded or performed with Dierks Bentley, Sara Evans, Little Big Town, Jerry Reed, Randy Travis, Tom T. Hall, and Jim Lauderdale to name a few. He produced Lauderdale’s Grammy winning album Bluegrass Diaries.
