New faces in the Edgar Loudermilk Band

Edgar Loudermilk Band

As the 2026 touring schedule kicks into high gear, Edgar Loudermilk has announced two new members of his band.

First is a returning bandmate, Clint Coker, who worked with Edgar for three years on lead guitar from 2018 to 2021. He departed to take a spot with Terry Baucom & The Dukes of Drive. Coker has also made himself into a highly sought-after guitar instructor with a solid base of regular students.

Loudermilk reports being very pleased to welcome his old “band brother” back into the group.

Completely new to the group is Bryce Griffin on mandolin, who has been playing for 15 years, and is only 20 years of age! Bryce had worked previously with Remedy Tree for a few years, and with Ernie Evans & The Florida State Bluegrass Band. He also fills in from time to time with Backline.

Edgar is likewise excited to bring Griffin on board.

The two new members join Edgar on bass and lead vocals, Eddie Hoyle on banjo and vocals, and Tucker McCandless  on guitar and vocals.

They have a busy season gearing up, and Edgar says that he’s looking forward to seeing all his bluegrass buddies out on the road soon.

You can see the Edgar Loudermilk Band schedule online.
