Martha and Mary from Nu-Blu

Nail By Nail - Nu-Blu

Pinecastle has released a single from the upcoming Nail By Nail album, due October 30 from Nu-Blu. This will be the North carolina-based band’s first all-Gospel project.

Martha and Mary is a retelling of the familiar Bible story, written by Becky Buller and Nancy Cardwell, and sung by Nu-Blu’s Carolyn Routh. Radio programmers can download the track now from Airplay Direct.

Routh tells us she was touched deeply by cutting a Gospel album.

“This is a very emotional collection of music for me. Each song takes me somewhere, causes me to reflect, makes me feel. I pray that it will have the same effect on the people who hear it.”

Joining Carolyn on bass are her husband Daniel on guitar, Austin Koerner on mandolin, and Levi Austin, whose driving banjo defines the feel of the song.

Preordering Nail By Nail is enabled now on the Pinecastle site, which includes an instant download of Martha and Mary with each order.
