Joe Mullins on Sirius-XM

We have mentioned Rambler’s Call a few times of late, the fine album from Joe Mullins & The Radio Ramblers, released on Rebel Records in March. Joe is among the finest traditional style banjo players and tenor singers in bluegrass, and he and his fine band have turned out a great CD.

If you subscribe to Sirius-XM satellite radio, you’ll have several chances to hear the whole thing this week, starting this morning. Joe will be on Bluegrass Junction (Sirius 65, XM 14) for their Track-By-Track show this morning at 9:00 a.m. (EDT) to listen to all 12 tracks in sequence, and discuss them with host Kyle Cantrell.

The show will be rebroadcast this Thursday (5/6) at 9:00 p.m. and again on Sunday (5/9) at 11:00 a.m.

You can expect a fine interview from Joe. In addition to his fine work as a performer, he is also a radio pro, managing several stations in southern Ohio which broadcast live as MyClassicCountry.com. Mullins also hosts a popular daily show on his station from 1:00-3:00 p.m.
