Graves Mountain Memories on Into The Blue

This week’s edition of Into The Blue, produced and voiced by award-winning broadcaster Terry Herd, will feature interviews with Carl Jackson and Mark Newton. They join Terry to discuss All Star Jam – Live At Grave’s Mountain, recorded during the Graves Mountain Festival of Music in Syria, VA earlier this year.

The album features a mish-mash of the many artists who record for the Rural Rhythm label, performing both on their own and in jam-style configurations. Prominent contributions come from Russell Moore & IIIrd Tyme Out, Lonesome River Band, Audie Blaylock and Redline, The Crowe Brothers, Carrie Hassler, Lou Reid & Carolina, and Brand New Strings.

It was produced by Jackson and Newton, who will share stories and remembrances from the live recordings and mixing of this memorable project.

Into The Blue is carried throughout the week on a large number of radio stations across the US, airing on different days and times depending on the affiliate. You can find a station near you (both broadcast and streaming) by visiting www.bluegrassradio.com.
