Getting Ready For A Baby from Volume Five

Event Details

Getting Ready For A Baby - Volume FiveMountain Fever Records has released a very advance single from a Christmas-themed album due in the Fall of 2013.

It’s a track from Volume Five, a new song from Jerry Salley called Getting Ready For A Baby. It’s a lovely ballad telling the story of Mary and Joseph preparing themselves for the birth of Jesus, and the uncertainty the impending event must have created in their minds.

It’s sung by V5 fiddler Glen Harrell, with Chris Williamson on bass, Jesse Daniel on mandolin, Patton Wages on guitar, and Jeff Partin on resonator guitar.

Radio programmers can download the song now from Airplay Direct, and Mountain Fever sent this sample along for Bluegrass Today readers.

Mark Hodges at Mountain Fever says that the song is a “Merry Christmas message” from the company to bluegrass fans and radio folks worldwide.
