Banjo tabs from Hamish Davidson

Bluegrass Banjo Davidson Style by Hamish DavidsonHamish Davidson, the banjo-playing half of Australia’s Davidson Brothers, has published Bluegrass Banjo Davidson Style, a book of banjo tabs from his recorded solos with the band.

A total of 28 songs/tunes are included, each presented in hand-written, metered tablature. There are no song notes, but all of the solos should be within the grasp of an intermediate player. Having access to the recordings would be a big plus.

Hamish is one of the most visible banjoists in Australia, and increasingly in Europe and the States as well. He put the book together after multiple requests for individual tabs had been made.

In his spare time, Hamish is a Doctor of Chiropractic Medicine but spends most weekends out with his brother, Lachlan, and the band.

The book is offered for sale at $30 (AUD) in bound, paper form, and $19.99 (AUD) in downloadable, digital form.
