Della Mae live webcast

Event Details

Tonight in Boston, Della Mae will celebrate the release of their new CD, I Built This Heart, at Beantown’s venerable Club Passim. If you, like most of our readers can’t make the trip, you can watch the whole thing streaming live online.

Concert Window will be offering the CD-release show as a free stream, one of the last concerts this month available at no cost.

The company is the brainchild of a pair of young Boston entrepreneurs with a deep fondness and appreciation for American and Celtic folk music. Forrest O’Connor and Dan Gurney are recent Harvard grads, both musicians, and knee-deep in making new media pay for artists, venues and, of course, Concert Window. They have an impressive schedule of events in-and-around Boston, which can be viewed for either a $3.00 one off charge, or a monthly subscription of $8.99.

The bulk of their shows feature acoustic and/or folk artists, though they also broadcast performances related to the Berklee College of Music. See the full Concert Window schedule online.

So sidle up to the warm glow of your laptop (or Flash-enabled phone) this evening from 8:00-10:00 p.m. (EDT), and join Della Mae for their CD release concert.
