New dreadnaught from Recording King

Event Details

In their ongoing effort to offer solid wood guitars at costs attractive to budget-minded consumers, Recording King has announced the introduction of their RD-310.

This Asian-made dreadnaught model utilizes a solid, Adirondack spruce top and solid mahogany back and sides with a suggested street price of $499. The RD-310 also has Grover Rotomatic tuners installed and comes with a lifetime warranty.

Other appointments are similar to the early 18-style guitars so prized by flatpickers:

  • bone nut and saddle
  • Rosewood fingerboard and bridge
  • solid black pick guard
  • unbound African mahogany neck
  • tortoise shell body binding
  • forward x-bracing

Full specs and additional photos can be found on the Recording King web site.
