John Reischman & the Jaybirds have put together a brief, four and a half minute documentary about the band. They talk about each other, the music they play and record, and working together as a band.
The Jaybirds are spread across the Pacific northwest of the US and Canada, and have a very distinctive and appealing sound. Reischman is on mandolin, Greg Spatz on fiddle, Jim Nunally on guitar, Nick Hornbuckle on banjo, and Trisha Gagnon on bass.
The album they discuss in the video is their last, Vintage & Unique, from 2011. John tells us that they are just now starting to think and talk about a new one, giving some thought to a live album.
