Kickin’ Back with Georgia Rae is a new, weekly bluegrass radio show on WBNL in Boonville, IN.
Hosting on Saturday evenings from 7:00-9:00 p.m. is 16 year old Georgia Rae, a two-time state fiddle champion and lover of bluegrass music. Georgia performs with her two sisters as the Georgia Rae Family Band.
You can hear the show on Saturdays, rebroadcast on Tuesdays, at 1540 AM and 97.7 FM in Boonville, just northeast of Evansville, not far from Owensboro in Kentucky. It is also streamed live online from radio1540.net.
Here’s video of Georgia competing in September at the Minnesota state fiddle contest, which she won, with her mom, Roni, on guitar. Well done, Georgia!
