This new video from Zoe & Cloyd is one that will resonate with any new parents, and anyone who can remember being a new parent. Running On Empty properly describes that combination of frustration, exhaustion and fascination a first child brings.
Zoe & Cloyd are John Cloyd Miller and Natalya Zoe Weinstein, based in the rich musical community of Asheville, NC. Both of them come from musical families, and one assumes that their young daughter will be roundly exposed to bluegrass and old time music as she grows into adulthood. Watch for her cameo near the end of the video.
The couple perform the song live from home, with assistance from Kevin Kehrberg on bass.
