The Stanley Music Group launches record label

Nathan Stanley and Darlene FowlerThe Stanley Music Agency, an entertainment company that helps manage the careers of Ralph Stanley and his grandson, Nathan, has announced the formation of a new record label.

Called The Stanley Music Group, the label will focus on new music in the bluegrass, country, and Gospel genres. They plan to offer artist development, management, consulting, publicity, radio, recording, and video services for their artists.

Initially, the Group will represent both Nathan and Ralph Stanley, with offices in Nashville, TN and Coeburn, VA. Darlene Fowler, formerly with HMG Nashville and Power Source Music, will serve as Director of A&R Management and oversee the placement of other staff who will be announced shortly.
