Dustin Benson, until recently the guitarist with Special Consensus, and his wife Emmy Lou are celebrating the expansion of their family earlier today.
Isabella Katherine Benson was born this morning, coming in at 7 lbs, 11 oz, and stretching out to 20”. Dustin says they plan to call her Izzy.
She comes from a solid bluegrass background, with Dustin’s dad, Ray, and his uncle, Joe, being bluegrass pickers and singers from way back.
Mom and baby are doing well, and Izzy will be coming home soon to join brothers Elijah and Sawyer in the growing Benson family.
