We are delighted to announce the winners of our first March MASHness reader’s poll here at Bluegrass Today, where we followed a template similar to what the NCAA uses for the annual basketball tournaments for both men and women.
The women’s tournament had no surprises, with the University of Connecticut sweeping to the title, but many were surprised to see Villanova University taking the men’s.
And we have a surprise as well in out top spot – and it’s not The Darrell Brothers!
Congratulations to Blue Highway, who was chosen #1 by our readers as their favorite all-time bluegrass artist, besting J.D. Crowe by 57% – 43%. Well done, boys.
