Aaron McDarris is the banjo player with The Larry Stephenson Band, and his debut release is scheduled for Tuesday, October 11 on Pinecastle Records. The CD is entitled First Time Around, and though it isn’t clearly stated on the Pinecastle web site, it appears to be a mix of instrumental and vocal music.
Aaron is joined on his new CD by Randy Barnes, Dustin Benson, Wayne Benson, Clay Jones, Randy Kohrs, Jeff Parker, David Parmley, Brandon Rickman, Adam Steffey, Larry Stephenson, Bryan Sutton, Jimmy VanCleve, and Darrel Webb. There are no audio samples currently available on the Pinecastle site, but perhaps that will be remedied before long.
Also due to be released on 10/11 are two new Pinecastle CDs we had mentioned previously, Chris Sexton’s Coffee At Midnight, and Justin Carbone’s Take Some Time.
