USA Songwriting winner on new Faith Hill CD

Event Details

We’ve mentioned the USA Songwriting Competition previously, letting everyone know about the contest and the May 31st deadline for submissions. Winners receive prizes and guaranteed airplay for the winning songs on the Acoustic Caf??? radio show and on XM Satellite Radio. Despite the name, the event is open to songwriters from all over the world in 15 categories – including country, folk and instrumental.

We just got word that last year’s winner in the country category, Darrell Scott, will have his winning song for 2005, Good Ol USA, cut by Faith Hill.

Find all the details, and the rules of the competition on the USA Songwriting Competition web site.
