Legendary bluegrass fiddler Tex Logan was hospitalized over the weekend, diagnosed with an emergency hypertensive crisis. He is 85 years of age, and being tended at Morristown Memorial Hospital in New Jersey.
Tex, who worked in the 1950s with Bill Monroe and The Lilly Brothers, had been treated in 2011 after suffering a number of mini-strokes, but recovered nicely and was released after a brief stay in the hospital.
