Sierra Hull video in the studio

Well, it seems like the theme on Bluegrass Today of late is candid video shot in the recording studio. First we had The Infamous Stringdusters, Cadillac Sky and Blue Moon Rising, and now we feature footage from Sierra Hull.

She spent last week at Brent Truitt’s studio in Nashville, with Barry Bales producing, working on her sophomore CD for Rounder Records. She had sent a batch of photos which we ran on Friday, and alerted us this afternoon that she had also shot some video while they were tracking.

It sounds like Sierra is singing with a lot more confidence thean she did on Secrets, not a bit surprising after a couple years on the road. This should be a good’n.
