We just heard heard from Cindy Baucom that songwriter Pete Goble underwent surgery yesterday and is experiencing difficulties breathing today. He’s currently on life support and his family is asking for prayer.
Doyle Lawson’s wife, Suzanne, posted concerning Pete on Doyle’s forum.
Pete and his wife Beulah believe in prayer. He had called Doyle last week and asked him to pray for his surgery. He told Doyle he was ready to go if it was time.
Pete has written many great bluegrass songs. Doyle has recorded many but one of the most requested is “God Sent An Angel”.
Doyle called and asked me to spread the word of the need for prayer for Pete and his family.
