The latest in CMH Records’ popular Pickin’ On series is out today. Pickin’ On Kenny Rogers – The Bluegrass Tribute, as its title suggests, offers instrumental bluegrass arrangements of 12 Rogers hits, including The Gambler, Lucille, Ruby Don’t Take Your Love To Town, Lady, and Reuben James.
CMH indicates that the CD will be shipping on April 4, and audio samples from three tracks can be found on their web site.
UPDATE 4/5: The Pickin’ On Kenny Rogers CD is actually a vocal tribute, featuring Jeremy Garrett, Andy Hall and Jesse Cobb.
