No Regrets from Kristy Cox

Kristy Cox

Kristy Cox and Billy Blue Records have something for us today, No Regrets, a new song from Kristen Bearfield, Lauren Mascitti, and Bill Whyte.

The song recalls that feeling of recognition when we examine hard times we’ve been through, and realizing that without the various difficulties and challenges we’ve faced, we wouldn’t be where we are now, hopefully in a better place.

Cox offers her take.

No Regrets is a fun, uptempo song about embracing the journey and not looking back with regret. We all make choices in life — some work out exactly as planned, and others take us down unexpected roads — but every experience, good or bad, helps shape the person we become. This song is about celebrating those choices, owning your story, and realizing that even the mistakes and detours have played a part in building who you are today.

At its heart, No Regrets is about letting go of the what-ifs, enjoying the ride, and moving forward with a smile. It’s a feel-good reminder that your past doesn’t have to be something you regret — it can be the very thing that made you who you are.”

With Kristy singing the lead, we also have Jason Roller on guitar and fiddle, Tony Wray on banjo, Justin Moses on mandolin and reso-guitar, and Tyler Griffith on bass. Producer Jerry Salley and Magnolia Williams sing harmony.

It’s a nice way to head into the weekend. Check it out.

No Regrets is available now from popular download and streaming services online, and to radio programmers via AirPlay Direct.
