NewFound Road live CD

Tim Shelton sent along this panoramic shot of NewFound Road taken during their live CD/DVD shoot at The Down Home in Johnson City, TN last Saturday night. The snow it was a fallin’, but the guys – and a sellout crowd – made it to the show, and a wonderful time was had by all.

In addition to the regular band members (Shelton on guitar/lead vocals, Josh Miller on banjo/guitar, Joe Booher on mandolin and Jamey Booher on bass), they had Jim VanCleve with them on fiddle. They brought along a lighting crew and a team of audio engineers (David Hall, Scotty Bolen and Josh Greene) to get the whole evening down on tape. Matt Zervos shot the video.

Tim seems well-pleased with their efforts…

“I’m looking forward to getting the new record out, and the DVD as well. Should sound, and look great when we’re all finished with it!”

Both will be released on Rounder in 2011.
