New IIIrd Tyme Out single next week

IIIrd Tyme OutRussell Moore & IIIrd Tyme Out have chosen St. Patrick’s Day to roll out their new single, If Your Heart Should Ever Roll This Way Again. The song was written by Austin Cunningham and Mark Irwin, and came to the group through Jo-El Sonnier, whose country/Cajun hybrid version caught the ear of Don Dilling, father of 3TO banjo man, Steve Dilling.

It will be included on the next IIIrd Tyme Out album, due later this year on Rural Rhythm Records. Work on this record is still ongoing, but the label says that it will feature at least six new compositions, a number of bluegrass/country classics, and the band’s rocking version of Carroll County Blues, already a big hit at their live shows.

Radio programmers can download the track on March 17 via Airplay Direct, or wait to receive it on Rural Rhythm’s next Fresh Cuts and Key Tracks radio sampler.
