Mexico video from Wood & Wire

Wood & WireAustin’s Wood & Wire has released their debut, self-titled and self-produced album.

The quartet has been together since 2010, founded by guitarist Tony Kamel and mandolinist Matt Slusher. They are joined by Trevor Smith on banjo and Dom Fisher on bass. Together, they wrote and arranged the music for this project.

To introduce the CD to a wider audience, Wood & Wire has released this live video of Mexico, the record’s opening track. It shows their penchant for modern bluegrass, mixing rock/blues structure and harmony with the traditional bluegrass ensemble.
