Mark Lavengood vinyl EP

Mark LavengoodMark Lavengood, reso-guitarist with Lindsay Lou & the Flatbellys, has released a self-titled EP on 7” vinyl.

The four tracks on the album cover the two sides of this talented Michigan picker. Half were recorded in an acoustic session with a bluegrass rhythm section and Mark on square-neck resophonic guitar, and the other half in an electric session where Mark plays an 8-string straight steel.

All four tunes are Lavengood originals, recorded on Mark’s newest acquisition.

“Last summer I raised $6,400 with my Kickstarter campaign – part of it went to investing in my new, custom Rayco resonator (who I now endorse), and the other part went to making this vinyl.

Here’s a listen to one of the tracks, Roll On, Rayco, Roll which Mark dedicated to his new guitar.

When you purchase the vinyl EP, you also get a download link to grab the tracks (with 2 bonus tunes) digitally.
