March issue of Silver Strings available online

The March issue of Silver Strings – a banjo “ezine” for new pickers getting started later in life – is now available online. The publication is meant to be roughly equal parts informational, instructional and motivational, with a new issue released monthly. Silver Strings can be downloaded in either a DNL (Windows “ezine”), or a more generic PDF format.

The March 2006 issue features an article about approaching your first jam sessions, a rundown on the recent Banjo Cruise, a first hand report on learning the banjo after age 80, and a very funny essay by publisher Angie Sumpter about one of her prized Shelor finger picks landing on the roof!

Find all of the past, and the current, issue of Silver Strings online at Angie’s Banjo.com.
