Luxury Liner from Carrie Hassler

The Distance - Carrie HasslerRural Rhythm has dropped a debut single from Carrie Hassler’s next album, The Distance.

The song is Luxury Liner, a country/rock classic from Gram Parsons that was famously covered by Emmylou Harris in 1977. It was the title track of a Harris album that included contributions from bluegrass artists like Mike Auldridge, Ricky Skaggs and Herb Pedersen.

Assisting on the track are Ron Stewart on banjo, Justin Moses on resonator guitar and fiddle, Tim Stafford on guitar, Mark Fain on bass, Alan Bibey on mandolin and Mark Laws on percussion. Dale Ann Bradley and producer Steve Gulley handle harmony vocals.

Radio programmers can download the single from Airplay Direct.

Look for The Distance to release April 24.
