Little Boy video from Farewell Drifters

The Farewell Drifters, complete with mod Beatles haircuts, have a music video for Little Boy, shot live in the living room of mandolinist Joshua Britt.

The video is a track from their current release, Echo Boom, created for the new online video series with the curious name Wigby.

Britt’s house sits atop a bluff overlooking the Cumberland River in Nashville, and Drifters guitarist/vocalist Zach Bevill shared a few details about the shoot, and the series that inspired it.

“Wigby is a song-loving bird who has a new video series named after him. He has a beautiful story, which you can read online in the ‘about the bird’ section of his site.

As best I know, the idea behind the video series is to capture an intimate and personal performance of the song. Nothing fancy, no pretension. Just people playing their songs, often in the comfort of their own homes.

When we first learned of Wigby and the philosophy there, we knew that house would be the perfect spot.”
