Larry Black recovering after serious accident

Larry BlackLarry Black, long time radio host and face of the television program, Larry’s Country Diner, is expected to leave the hospital today following a serious ATV accident in which he suffered a broken back, punctured lungs, and other injuries.

The accident occurred on Friday, June 19, and also caused serious injuries to Randy Little, owner of PFI Western Store, known colloquially as Boot Daddy. He suffered serious head trauma and is being treated in hospital as well.

Larry’s Country Diner airs each weekend on RFD-TV, and consistently welcomes bluegrass artists to appear on the show. As host, Black’s down-home style has made him feel like a friend to his many regular viewers.

Black underwent surgery to repair his back yesterday. Recovery is likely to take quite some time.

Best wishes to both Larry and Randy, and their families.
