Graves Mountain interviews

Rural Rhythm has released another video in support of their new live album, All Star Jam, a multi-artist extravaganza recorded at the Graves Mountain Festival of Music in Syria, VA this past summer.

It includes performances from many of the artists on the label, both on their own and in a variety of mashed-up configurations. You’ll hear Carrie Hassler, Lonesome River Band, IIIrd Tyme Out, Brand New Strings, Audie Blaylock, Crowe Brothers, Carl Jackson and more on a set of bluegrass favorites.

The new video features Mark Newton discussing the concept of this project with Rural Rhythm President Sam Passamano, and several of the artists involved in the recording, shot on site at Graves Mountain in June.

Audio samples are available in iTunes.
