Feller & Hill and the Bluegrass Buckaroos in February 2013

Feller and Hill and the Bluegrass BuckaroosFeller & Hill have set February 4, 2013 as the release date for their debut CD, Feller and Hill and the Bluegrass Buckaroos, on Blue Circle Records.

This new vocal duo consists of Tom Feller and Chris Hill, with a touring band set to be announced shortly. Tom is on mandolin and Chris on banjo. Together, they bring the singing style popularized by Buck Owens and Don Rich in the 1960s to bluegrass.

You can see what I mean in this sample from the latest of five tracks released to radio, Tom T. and Dixie Hall’s, Big Blue Roses.

All five tracks can be heard at Airplay Direct, where radio programmers can download them for airplay.

Tom tells us that Feller and Hill and the Bluegrass Buckaroos will be a 13 track project, with a mix of traditional and contemporary bluegrass, Southern Gospel, and classic country remakes.

The band is represented by the Graham Talent Group, and is accepting dates now for 2013 and beyond.

More details can be found on the Feller & Hill web site.
