Edgar Loudermilk to Mountain Fever

IIIrd Tyme Out bass player Edgar Loudermilk has completed a solo project, and he and Mountain Fever Records have come to an agreement to release it on January 11, 2011. The as-yet untitled album features Loudermilk as a vocalist, songwriter and bass player with assistance from a number of the bluegrass royalty with whom he has worked over the years.

Edgar sings with former employers Marty Raybon and Rhonda Vincent, along with his current 3TO bossman Russell Moore, and friends Cia Cherryholmes and Randy Kohrs. Joining him in the rhythm section are Tim Crouch on fiddle, Kohrs on resonator guitar, Shane Blackwell on guitar, Ashby Frank on mandolin and Scott Haas on banjo.

Each of the 12 songs are ones that Edgar shared in writing, including the first single, Can’t Live Here Without You, sung in duet with Rhonda Vincent.
