Darren Beachley exits HeartTown

Darren Beachley has announced today that he is leaving the band he recently help form, HeartTown.

In this brief note, he describes his reasons.

I have officially left the band HeartTown. The decsion was based upon a few things. With the current economic situation dates were down, which was very tough.

During the last few months I had been offered a managment position at Frederick Memorial Hospital (10 miles from Brunswick MD where I live) in Enviro Health with great pay and incredible benefits, which in this day and age is very hard to come by. I am having a blast working in health field, and have been working in different areas of the hospital seeing some interesting things. I think I like the OR the best, and the sky is the limit for me with this.

I will continue to do about 40 dates per year with different combinations. One of which will be on January 29th at Brunswick High in Brunswick MD. This will be myself, Greg Luck, Shayne Bartley, Joey Cox and Marshall Wilborn. So thats one combination thats going to be fun. There will be others.
I have spoken to a few record labels about a new CD in the Spring, and am excitied about that. My new website will be up in a week or so. Look for information on all the social networking sites, Facebook, etc.

We’ll update with word from the remaining members of HeartTown as soon as we hear back.
