Carolina Hurricane from Lorraine Jordan

This past Tuesday (April 12) saw the release of the new CD from Lorraine Jordan and Carolina Road, Carolina Hurricane.

As you might guess from the band and the album title, this project has something of a Carolina theme. Three of the record’s 12 tracks have Carolina in the title and one other references the Smokey Mountains. Not that’s there’s anything wrong with that… especially in bluegrass music!

The album highlights the lead vocals of Lorraine Jordan, who also plays mandolin, along with Carolina Raodsters Ben Greene on banjo, Josh Goforth on fiddle, Brad Hudson on bass, and Dustin benson on guitar.

Rural Rhythm put together an audio sampler which includes snippets from each song.

The CD is available wherever bluegrass music is sold.
