One of the folks we caught up with today was Tim Stafford, who has a busy week in Nashville planned. Blue Highway has the distinction of performing on the Awards Show Thursday evening, followed by a spot on the Grand Ole Opry on Friday night. They will also be appearing at Fan Fest on Saturday at 4:20.
Tim will also be a part of the Songwriter Showcase on Tuesday at 3:30 (accompanying Donna Hughes) and songwriter mentoring sessions on Thursday from 2:15-4:30. Pre-registration is required for mentoring sessions, but there is no additional fee for registered attendees.
Saturday’s guitar workshop during fan Fest will also feature Tim, along with David Grier, Kenny Smith and Roy Curry.
Tim especially asked that we remind IBMA members of the importance of attending the Membership Constituency Meetings on Tuesday afternoon. Tim will be involved in leading the Artist Constituency Meeting at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday (10/25) and he urges all members of the Artist/Composer category to attend.
