This weekend marks the first of several special holiday shows from the Skaggs Family. Billed as A Skaggs Family Christmas, the show features performances from Ricky Skaggs & Kentucky Thunder, The Whites (Ricky’s spouse, Sharon, and his in-laws), and three members of the next generation of the Skaggs family – Ricky’s children Luke and Molly Skaggs, and their cousin Rachel White.
This brief Christmas tour is in support of a new CD with the same name, A Skaggs Family Christmas. It contains recordings of 14 Christmas favorites by Ricky Skaggs, The Whites, and also Luke, Molly and Rachel. Audio samples are available on line.
