Two Runner is the name given to the experimental old time duo of banjoist Paige Anderson and fiddler Emilie Rose. These days Paige is moving forward on her own, but retains the name they worked under for her new project.
A new single with accompanying music video has been released, a song about wanderlust and life on the road, approximately titled Roadrunner, which Anderson wrote and sings. Its dark sound conveys a sense of disturbance, which Paige says she was feeling at the time.
“I wrote this song on a desert road trip. This is a song about that point you hit when something in your life needs to change, and you need to figure it out.”
The video finds Anderson roaming the hills on her mountain bike, which we are told is one of her joys in life.
On the track we hear Paige on banjo, guitar, and lead vocals, Emilie Rose on fiddle and vocals, Lucas Lawson on bass, and Daniel Young on drums.

Roadrunner is available now from popular download and streaming services online. It will also be included on Porchlight, the upcoming Two Runner album set for an August 28 release.
