The Frankfort Bluegrass Festival in downtown Frankfort, IL is celebrating 16 years of bluegrass this year. They had many bluegrass bands from around the country and one from overseas (The Often Herd). The event has three stages setup around downtown Frankfort. There is a kids tent and activities area, jamming tent, food and craft vendors and more. It is a free event and attended by thousands. Bluegrass music is heard from morning till night.
