Chris Thile on XM Studio Special

Event Details

Tomorrow’s edition of Studio Special on XM Satellite Radio’s Bluegrass Junction will feature Chris Thile and his How To Grow A Band. The show, which will be repeated several times over the following week, is a mix of live performance and interviews, with Chris and his merry band playing through 8 of the songs from his latest CD, How To Grow A Woman From The Ground.
The Thile show will debut on Friday (11/10) at 8:00 a.m., and be rebroadcast as follows:

Saturday 11/11 at 11:00 a.m.
Sunday 11/12 at 6:00 p.m.
Monday 11/13 at 8:00 p.m.
Tuesday 11/14 at Midnight (technically Wednesday morning)
Thursday 11/16 at 3:00 p.m.

All times shown are Eastern.

Chris has invited everyone to post their thoughts on the show on the Nickel Creek message board after they hear it on XM.

Bluegrass Junction can be found on XM 14, and is their 24/7 bluegrass channel. XM Radio Online is also available for subscribers who want to listen online when they are away from their receiver, or for folks who prefer to subscribe for online listening only.

NOTE: We had posted a few weeks back that Carrie Hassler & Hard Rain would be the guests on this week’s Studio Special, but that was incorrect. They will appear next week, starting on Friday November 17. The mistaken information was provided to us by the artist, and that post has been corrected.
