Homer Ledford passes

Event Details

The Cincinnati Enquirer has an obituary in today’s edition for noted instrument builder, Homer Ledford, who died this past Monday evening.

He is credited with building hundreds of fine banjos and guitars, and will also be remembered for his work with The Cabin Creek Band, who performed for nearly 20 years together.

Homer’s music, and a number of his instruments, are maintained at The Smithsonian Institution in Washington, DC.
