- August 17, 1955 Joe Stuart filled-in playing mandolin substituting for Bill Monroe who had a broken collar bone.
* Jack Paget toured with Bill Monroe, as part of his entertainment entourage from the beginning of July 1957 through to the middle of October that year.
** Enos Johnson played guitar for Bill Monroe for an unknown period during 1957.
